Hi
Hi Supreme Deliciousness.
I thought you might be interest in this articles. Judaization of the Galilee & The Invention of the Jewish People & Judaization_of_Jerusalem#Replacing_Arabic_place_names_with_Hebrew_names. Ani medjool (talk) 00:12, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
SD: Please wait until a consensus has been reached on the talk page regarding the appropriateness of Israeli photos in the article, before going through and removing them. Just because you feel that your own questions have not been adequately answered, does not mean that you can make an arbitrary decision to remove photos based upon your personal dislike of Israeli photos in the article. Notability of Al-Marsad
You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
The article Al-Marsad has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 20:18, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Notability
Thank you for pointing out other problem articles on Wikipedia. If you see problem articles, you can help out yourself by adding applicable template notes, or indicate that it shouldn't be on Wikipedia.
Unfortunately, deficient articles are not meant to be examples we should follow. Rather, we want to encourage users to follow the notability criteria (in this case, specifically for organizations), among other valuable criteria.
Wikipedia is only an enyclopedia, and therefore cannot be used to promote any cause, no matter how noble or valuable. The highly limiting focus here is on verifiable data, not causes. - CobaltBlueTony™ talk 20:42, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I understand, but I still think you at least could have waited for other peoples opinions first. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 20:45, 12 February 2010 (UTC)

Hummus photo
Hi SD,
I thought I would let you know that your photo of the Hummus can from Sweden has been nominated for deletion on the Wikipedia commons because it is a branded cover which includes a copyrighted logo. Such images are not allowed on the Wikipedia commons. I was not the nominator, in fact the reason I am writing you is to tell you how to save the image. You will have to re-upload a smaller, low-resolution copy of it to English Wikipedia and license it as a non-free branded cover image.
When you upload the photo to English Wiki, insert the following parameters into the description box:
== Summary == {{Non-free product cover}} {{Non-free use rationale |Article= Hummus |Description= Low resolution photo that I took myself of an example of commercially available canned Hummus. It incorporates a logo, which I claim as fair use on the English Wikipedia. The photo is necessary to illustrate forms of commercially available Hummus. It does not take away potential profit from the copyright owner, and cannot be replaced by a free image. |Source= Photo taken by myself |Portion= whole Can |Low_resolution= Yes |Purpose= To illustrate commercially available Hummus. |Replaceability= None |other_information= . }}
This will allow the photo to be used in the article without violating Wikipedia policy regarding branded covers. You can read more info about non-free use of images here. Regards --nsaum75¡שיחת! 03:35, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- Yes I know, I am talking with an admin on wikimedia about this. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 10:17, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- I moved the branded product cover info to the licensing section. Although you took the photo, its considered a derivative work (ie: the logo on can is not yours), and hence it technically cannot be released to public domain. But everything else looks OK now. --nsaum75¡שיחת! 10:49, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- By the way, if you decide to use the "hummus can" photo in any other articles, you will have to add another "fair use" section (below the one written for the hummus article) that specifically names the new article you want to use it in. If you don't, an automated bot will delete it from the new article. --nsaum75¡שיחת! 10:56, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- Just noticed that...not sure how it escaped me, but I just corrected it. Anyhow, this is the correct format for adding several "fair use" claims to a single photograph http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Chlorhexidine_mouthrinse.png --nsaum75¡שיחת! 11:11, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Terminology
I agree with your removal of terms such as "Murder" etc. from the Shebaa Farms article. Given the strength of those terms, they should not be used unless in a direct quote. I restored the section on Hezbollah since it was sourced. Also, under "See Also" section, I was not sure if the link to "Borders of Israel" should remain...Do you think it should be removed? --nsaum75¡שיחת! 21:00, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

If he is trying to help the article let it go, bringing sources is never a bad thing. This has to stop being about the two of you and just be about the articles. nableezy - 17:34, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
