Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks.   Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Economy of Karnataka. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Materialscientist (talk) 02:55, 21 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Economy of Tamil Nadu, you may be blocked from editing. -- Toddy1 (talk) 07:27, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

On 21 October, you were warned about changing numbers without providing a source in the article on the Economy of Karnataka. I see that you did it again on 22 October and 23 October. Please stop. People using Wikipedia need to be able to check that the information in articles comes from a reliable source. We do not want unverifiable information.-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:43, 25 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Economy of West Bengal. Shubhrojeet (talk) 08:47, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Economy of West Bengal. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -- Toddy1 (talk) 15:31, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring, as you did at Economy of West Bengal. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 17:28, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please could you learn to use the article talk page to explain why you think your edits is an improvement to the article. At least some of the time, you are changing data that are wrong into data that are correctly labelled and supported by the source. If you explained this on the article talk page, other editors would support you instead of reverting you.-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:02, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Please self-revert this edit to the article on Economy of West Bengal. Self-reverting is in your best interests because:

  • Your edits are not supported by the cited sources.
  • Resuming an edit war immediately after a block for that edit war has ended can get you a larger block that the original block.

-- Toddy1 (talk) 07:31, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately you chose not to self-revert. So another editor has reverted your ill-advised edit to the article on Economy of West Bengal. If you revert back, you will be reported at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring. Please note that you do not have an entitlement to three reverts in a day. Reverting back would be edit-warring and is blockable.-- Toddy1 (talk) 08:51, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Question from Sweety943 (06:13, 10 April 2024)

How do I create a citation? --Sweety943 (talk) 06:13, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Here is an example of a citation template> (It is from a page that you have edited. I have added some return characters to make it easier to read.) The citation uses a template,; the instructions for using the template can be found at Template:Citation.
<ref name="IMFWEOIN">{{cite web
|url=https://www.imf.org/en/Publications/WEO/weo-database/2023/October/weo-report?c=534,&s=NGDP_RPCH,NGDPD,PPPGDP,NGDPDPC,PPPPC,&sy=2021&ey=2028&ssm=0&scsm=1&scc=0&ssd=1&ssc=0&sic=0&sort=country&ds=.&br=1
|title=World Economic Outlook Database: October 2023
|publisher=[[International Monetary Fund]]
|date=October 2023
|access-date=10 March 2024
|archive-date=11 October 2023
|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20231011061018/https://www.imf.org/en/Publications/WEO/weo-database/2023/October/weo-report?c=534,&s=NGDP_RPCH,NGDPD,PPPGDP,NGDPDPC,PPPPC,&sy=2021&ey=2028&ssm=0&scsm=1&scc=0&ssd=1&ssc=0&sic=0&sort=country&ds=.&br=1
|url-status=live }}</ref>
The purpose of the <ref name="IMFWEOIN"> is to allow the citation to be used in several places in the article. If using the citation a second time, you use <ref name="IMFWEOIN"/>

Hello, someone is editing wrong data , How can I block him from Wikipedia? --Sweety943 (talk) 06:15, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

If someone is entering wrong data, try discussing it on the article talk page. Please show what the cited sources say, and say how they support your version.-- Toddy1 (talk) 09:21, 10 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
