Citations/sources
editHi, I've removed several citations that you added to articles because they didn't actually support the content. For example, one of the refs on Tammy Davis doesn't mention her. The citation you added to Erana James for her date of birth doesn't mention her date of birth. Neither of the refs that you added to Melanie Bracewell mention her. Please only cite sources that specifically support the content. When you add a reference, the reader should be able to verify the information in that sentence or paragraph by looking at the same reference. Adding references that don't provide verifiability of the information is misleading. Schazjmd (talk) 01:19, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry! That's my bad. I have the correct list of sources in my notes on my laptop and I will go add the correct ones now! Cheers for the heads up :) ThatAnonEditorGuy (talk) 01:21, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- Hey User talk:Schazjmd. With the references on Tammy Davis, the first reference was intended to reference his name, and the second one was intended to reference the series The Eggplant. I'm not too sure how to reference this properly but that's what I was trying to do. Would you mind helping me out by letting me know how to do this? ThatAnonEditorGuy (talk) 01:31, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- The reference to the series is irrelevant if it doesn't mention Davis. The first ref (the one I didn't remove) mentions Davis and The Eggplant, so that's all that's needed. Schazjmd (talk) 01:33, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- Perfect thank you! I'll remember that for future editing :) ThatAnonEditorGuy (talk) 01:34, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

- If you now believe the draft cannot meet Wikipedia's standards or do not wish to progress it further, you may request deletion. Please go to Draft:Mia Healey, click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window, add "{{Db-g7}}" at the top of the draft text and click the blue "publish changes" button to save this edit.
- If you do not make any further changes to your draft, in 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
- If you need any assistance, or have experienced any untoward behavior associated with this submission, you can ask for help at the Articles for creation help desk, on the reviewer's talk page or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help from experienced editors.
- My bad! Just saw that they need more than one credit and Mia only has currently one credit. Is there anyway around this if the actor is of significant enough status? Thank you for checking it out anyway! ThatAnonEditorGuy (talk) 08:19, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

Welcome
editHey, I see you have some interest in football, notable Ben Waine and Callan Elliot. Myself and Mrsmiis created those two articles and both do a lot of work on football articles relating to New Zealand players/clubs. If you need a hand or have any questions, just ask by pinging one of us. You might also like to join WikiProject Football as it has discussions, templates etc regarding football on Wikipedia. Images
editHi, I doubt if you've checked your Talk page on Commons but a number of images that you've uploaded have been deleted for copyright violation. You can't take a photo off the web and upload it as your own work. ("Own work" means you are the photographer.) Unless an image on the web has been freely licensed for reuse, you can't use it in an article. (That's the simple rule-of-thumb; for details, see WP:Image use policy.) Please don't upload more photos until you learn that rules for licensing and reuse. Schazjmd (talk) 22:49, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- Oh whoops. Thank you for letting me know. I keep making these same mistakes but now I know I won't do it again. I'll have a look at the rules and familiarise myself, but maybe I'll just leave the image editing to other people for now... ThatAnonEditorGuy (talk) 23:03, 4 February 2021 (UTC)
- Yeah, images are a tricky business. I've learned how to do a fair-use book cover, but other than that, if it isn't already on Commons, I just don't use images. Happy editing! Schazjmd (talk) 23:07, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:
Hi guys. I am really confused and ultimately frustrated that I have been blocked as I have been contributing to Wikipedia immensely. I have been banned as a 'sockpuppet' which is really confusing as well. I have noticed that my article 'Keep It Real Online' was removed. I do understand that this article has had some problems before because that is how I found the original draft. After some investigation, I could see that a sockpuppet was behind its original creation, however, I thought that since the ad campaign is well known and is worthy of a Wikipedia page that I would use the foundations from the draft to make one. I was not expecting this action to get me blocked indefinitely. To me, this is totally unfair. I was purely reusing information that had already been published to create an article. Unfortunately, I do understand that this could be seen as a sock-puppet, however, is there any chance you could investigate? You will then see that I am not a sockpuppet. I edit Wikipedia from my home, university, and from the local library, and this is why I would like to challenge this block. Maybe I have used the same internet connection as the sock puppeteer? I am new to Wikipedia and have only one account that I use. I have been editing articles that I have an interest in, developing new articles about things that are well known, and editing other articles in general. I would love to know why I have been blocked. This is really upsetting to me because I have absolutely loved editing Wikipedia and do not wish to give it up. Editing Wikipedia is my only source of freedom outside of my home. Please investigate as you will find that this block is not worthyThatAnonEditorGuy (talk) 01:30, 9 February 2021 (UTC)
