I have again removed the Towson University logo from the template, as it is a non-free logo image. Item #9 of the policy listed at WP:NONFREE clearly states that nonfree images are never to be used in templates on the project. Towson University

I would like to thank you for your hard work, first of all. It is obvious you have made many efforts to improve the article. I am especially impressed with the number of pictures, historical and contemporary, that you have uploaded. My goal is to try and get TU to Featured Article status. Not many universities have managed to achieve this and it will take a lot of work and time. The first thing, in my opinion, we need is to get it to Good article status. This will require a major cleanup and rewrite, specifically involving well-cited sources. Once we've cleaned and rewritten the page, we should ask for a peer review so others can come in and tell us what we need to further polish. Then, it's GA nomination-time. Hopefully, we'll get it and then we can ask for another peer review, if necessary, before we submit it for FA nomination. Since we're the only two editors that seem to be working on the article, we shouldn't need a WikiProject. Right now, I'm trying to edit this between classes and on my free time so it's taking a while. See Cornell University Ohio Wesleyan and Georgetown University for examples of FA university articles. Miranda and THX2005, The image that THX2005 had of my sorority shield was correct. The offical shield of DST is entirely crimson and cream. Former Student of Lake Clifton and statement deletion of the Layout Section

I've typed the layout section from personal experience from attending Lake Clifton in its last years of existence (1999-2003). Many people who were long-time teachers and staff at Lake Clifton have actually noted that the school layout is similar to a prison; example: a central core housing administrative offices and radiating from that central core is two smaller buildings which is then broken down to 4 units housing prision cells. Hi! I have an odd sort of query. Since you contribute to Baltimore transportation related articles, and Towson related articles, I thought you could be the person I should ask. There is a new page in wiki, List of the oldest public high schools in the United States, that shows City College is actually the 29th oldest public high school in the United States. RE:Towson University Campus Police

Hello! Just so you know, I undid your good faith deletion of the TU Campus Police as it is in no way an advertisement. The TU Campus Police fall within the limits of WP:N, WP:WikiProject Law Enforcement, and WP:WikiProject Maryland. I have been working on the Maryland list rather diligently for the past three months or so. So, just in case you are wiki-surfing and see some of the other universities with the campus police section. There was also an AfD debate about some of the minor colleges' campus police having their own article within WP. The concensus was that College PD's generally aren' notable enough to have their own article, but a subsection within the parent article is within the guidelines of WP:N see this link. I can understand the way you think; however, the subsection clearly does not fall within WP:ADVERT as it fails this key point, "solicitations for a business, product or service, or are public relations pieces designed to promote a company or individual." I have created over 40 law enforcement-related articles and have become very adept at what is and is not required. I have reverted back to the original article for now and have notified an administrator to settle the dispute to avoid an edit war. Not A Repository and Conflict of Interest Questions

I stumbled across your work on Towson University buildings and structures as I added a photo of Auburn House to it. There's a certain irony in the fact that the only building on campus notable enough to have its own Wikipedia article was one of the few on campus without a photograph.

I changed the section containing Auburn House to an {{Image gallery}}. I commend that template to you, as an image gallery automatically changes width to match the screen width -- your gallery required horizontal scroll bars on my left screen.

However, there's a larger question -- does the page break Wikipedia's rule against image repositories, see WP:NOTREPOSITORY. I think it probably does, and should be deleted unless the buildings taken as a whole meet the standards at Wikipedia:Notability, which, except for Auburn House, they probably do not.

I know you've put a lot of work into the page and taking the photos on it, so that comes as a shock, which is why I'm putting a note here rather than on Talk:Towson University buildings and structures. There is a solution, however. If you move all the images to Commons, which is the best place for them anyway, you can define a category there Category:Towson University buildings and structures and put a tag on the main Towson University page calling up a Commons Gallery of all the buildings.

I also note that in your work on Wikipedia on Towson University, you are treading very close to the line, perhaps over it, of a conflict of interest, see(WP:COI). That's probably true of several of your other Wikipedia articles, maybe all of them.

You might do better to put your energy into other areas of Wikipedia. One thing I might suggest, since you like to take pictures of buildings, is to look at National_Register_of_Historic_Places_listings_in_Baltimore_County,_Maryland. There are 80 places, of which only eleven have photographs. Each of the 80 has an article, each of which could use several photographs.

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Been a long time

Wow you started the MTA Maryland wikipedia page and from that beginning the page has gotten bigger and stronger (I guess to put it). Thanks for getting me and ETLamborghini into enhancing the page to an elite, graphic, well-written page. That also streamed me to create the Charm City Circulator page with ETLamborghini providing the images for both of Baltimore's transit systems from his youtube name "quickbus" and mine's "MJofLakeland".
