Is Island View Incorporated in Delaware?

edit

Friend, I have created a talk page entry on this topic at the Island View Residential Treatment Center article. I'd welcome your input and would hope we can avoid an edit/revert war. Best regards, GetSomeUtah (talk) 10:51, 16 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits

edit

  Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:22, 16 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of Draft:Abundant Life Academy

edit

  Draft:Abundant Life Academy, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Abundant Life Academy and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:Abundant Life Academy during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Island View Residential Treatment Center

edit

Hello, thanks for your work to improve Island View Residential Treatment Center. We can't move the page yet, as it's in the middle of a deletion discussion at WP:Articles for deletion/Island View Residential Treatment Center. If the Island View article is kept, then it will need to be merged somehow to the existing correct title, Elevations Residential Treatment Center. I'd be glad of some help to improve the Island View article, if you've got time - I think it's notable and should be kept. Thanks, TMGtalk 10:53, 29 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Island View Residential Treatment Center, you may be blocked from editing. Hey! I saw you reverted my removal of part of your edit and the better source needed tag- I removed and tagged those parts because Ranker is not a reliable source, and HuffPost is not the best.   Hello, I'm Shadowrvn728. I noticed that you recently removed content from Logan River Academy without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. previously mentioned in talk Shadowrvn728 (talk) 22:34, 30 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

  Hello Ttifacts! Your additions to Elevations RTC have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 12:30, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Diannaa, thank you for the input. Do you know how to fix the redirect from the page? It should be Elevations RTC, but the Island View search page should also redirect to Elevations. Is the redirect set up correct? Ttifacts (talk) 23:13, 5 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

There's redirects at Island View Residential Treatment Center and Elevations Residential Treatment Center. Island View redirects to Island View High School.— Diannaa (talk) 01:53, 6 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

COI notice

edit

  Hello, Ttifacts. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

  Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Elevations RTC. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Please provide more info whenever accusing someone of vandalism. If you see me vandalizing, please leave a message on my talk page. Shadowrvn728 ❯❯❯ Talk 23:43, 8 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Elevations RTC while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Shadowrvn728 ❯❯❯ Talk 23:51, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ttifacts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GeneralNotability (talk) 02:34, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Hi there, can you please unblock me. I inadvertently was logged out of my account and edited in that manner. As for the other account, that is not me. I did not understand that there was a 3 edit revert rule within 24 hours, or I would not have done that. Now that I know, I will not revert edits in that fashion. There was a disagreement on edits between Shadowrvn728 and me, and neither of us could come to an agreement though we tried to discuss them on the talk page as you can see. Each day Shadowrvn728 would come in and delete my edits, and it would go back and forth. It is not fair, however, to only block me indefinitely. I am not trying to use my IP address to get around that, rather I was just trying to stop Shadowrvn728 from deleting my edits as I did not agree that the article was not well-sourced. Rather, it has over 75 sources. Anyhow, the disagreement has been resolved as we agreed to phrase a certain one sentence in a certain manner, and information that was considered promotional (though not intentionally) has been removed and that is fine. Please unblock me so that I can continue editing on Wikipedia. Again, it would be unfair to block me permanently when the disruption has ceased. Thank you for your consideration. Ttifacts (talk) 02:46, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You need to explain why Three-weeks-earlier is restoring edits that you made. You should also read through Wikipedia:Edit warring and Wikipedia:Reliable sources. You don't seem to understand them. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 09:32, 11 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

That is my IP address, I did not realize I was not logged in. However, someone is saying that I am using another account, which is NOT true. I am calling you the shadow person because I do not know how to refer to your name in the coding. That is all. There is no sockpuppetry here. There is one person who was making edits and in a war with you, that person is me. The dispute has since been resolved. You could equally be accused of being in an edit war as you were also warring with the edits. Ttifacts (talk) 03:05, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • @Ttifacts: I did not violate the WP:3RR, and I placed a message on your talk page regarding editing while logged out.

@Shadowrvn728: Ok, well I was not aware of the three revert rule. I just now read that about the 24 hour rule. I will not revert within 24 hours. You are reverting every 24 hours to get around this rule. Anyways if those are the only rules being violated, then my appear should be granted as the problem has been fixed and there is no need for further block.Ttifacts (talk) 03:12, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • @Ttifacts: I put a message on both your talk page, and of the IP you were using, notifying you that you are editing while logged out. You continued to edit logged out after you responded to it right below my message, so you would have seen it. Even if the logout was inadvertent, you refused to discuss on the talk page about any edits after a certain point, but continued to revert anyway and you ignored the warnings placed on both talk pages about being logged out. Even if you didn't know about the rules, warnings were places and messages were posted, and you continued editing without responding to some of them

@GeneralNotability: Please see the discussion above. I do not have another account, and I am not sure how anyone came to that conclusion. I have had this account for a long time, and as I discussed above, was making edits when I inadvertently and unknowingly was logged out of this account. Shadowrvn728 has been making reverts every day and deleting material from the article to get around the 24 hour rule. I had attempted to resolve the issue and it took until today to reach a compromise. Accordingly, the issue has been resolved. I will not make more than 3 reverts within 24 hours going forward. Please remove the block.
