Thank you for uploading File:ImInYourCityTrick.png. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Vladlen Manilov / 04:45, 23 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:Odetari2020.webp

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Odetari2020.webp. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Replaceable non-free use File:Odetari2020.webp

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Odetari2020.webp. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 11:45, 20 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Nationality and DOB at Odetari

edit

Just wanted to leave you a message about some of the changes you've made over at Odetari. While I appreciate your edits, there are a few things that need to be considered. First, Odetari's nationality is American, not Palestinian-American, per MOS:NATIONALITY. According to sources, he was born in the United States and is not cited to have Palestinian citizenship anywhere in any of the sources about him. Descent is not enough to state that someone is of a nationality outside of where they were born, even if articles about them refer to them as "[X]-American". Articles like this one refer to singer Becky G as being Mexican American, but she is listed as simply American because she is of Mexican descent. Conversely, it is specified on Natalie Portman's page that she is Israeli-born despite her being American.

The other thing is Odetari's DOB. You mentioned in an edit summary that an "old tweet" cites him as having been born on January 1, 2000. While WP:DOB permits using social media posts as usable if they are able to verified, if you are going to include information based on a source, you have to include the source. As of now, the old tweet in question isn't in the article. If you can find it and it is able to verified as his own admission of his birth date, then we can include it, but otherwise, it has to be removed. Thanks again for your edits on the page! benǝʇᴉɯ 06:45, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi! BTW, Odetari started in 2016 with a SoundCloud account called "Odetari BEATS". Proof:

Speedy deletion nomination of H***caust

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on H***caust, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
