File permission problem with File:Avatars-000152251324-d4vcx6-t500x500.JPG
editThanks for uploading File:Avatars-000152251324-d4vcx6-t500x500.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 10:44, 6 July 2015 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Rita Ora - Body On Me.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Rita Ora - Body On Me.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:02, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Trapsoul
editThe article Trapsoul has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Released two days, but already on a chart that hasn't been released? Billboard doesn't have him at #12. First album by a new artist. No refs
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bgwhite (talk) 04:57, 5 October 2015 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Gold Slugs (Songs)
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Gold Slugs (Songs), requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://www.complex.com/music/2015/10/dj-khaled-new-song-gold-slugs-feat-fetty-wap-august-alsina-and-chris-brown. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. shoy (reactions) 17:24, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Urbanbanga. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. People with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, see the conflict of interest guideline and frequently asked questions for organizations. In particular, please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, its competitors, or projects and products you or they are involved with;
- instead, propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the
{{request edit}}
template); - avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require disclosure of your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing, and autobiographies. Thank you. NeilN talk to me 15:33, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
November 2015
editIn addition to the conflict of interest issue mentioned above, there are other problems with your editing, including the following.
- The substantial majority of your edits consist of adding links to one person, with whom you have stated you have a professional connection. It looks very much as though those links are there for the purpose of publicising that person, which is contrary to Wikipedia policy. Continuing to edit for promotional purposes can lead to being blocked from editing.
- Few if any of your edits are supported by reference to reliable sources. Moreover, in some cases I have searched for confirmation of what you have written, and failed to find any reliable sources that provide such confirmation. Please don't add content without providing a citation to a reliable source so that your edits can be verified. This is particularly important in the case of edits relating to a subject where you have a conflict of interest. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 21:16, 26 November 2015 (UTC)
The article Cali The Producer has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Speedy deletion nomination of Pass Dat (Jeremih Song)
editHello Urbanbanga,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Pass Dat (Jeremih Song) for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Ueutyi (talk) 07:23, 1 December 2015 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions are appreciated, but, in this recent edit to Cali The Producer, you removed Articles for deletion notices from articles or removed other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates. This makes it difficult to establish consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 15:54, 17 December 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for January 15
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cali The Producer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page EDM. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Re-creation of a deleted article
editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, as you did at Cali The Producer, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. As you know, the article has been the subject of a discussion, the outcome of which was a consensus that it is not suitable for Wikipedia, and should be deleted. Attempting to unilaterally overturn consensus in a discussion by ignoring it and re-creating the article is considered to be disruptive, and contrary to the spirit of Wikipedia, which works by collaboration and consensus, not by individual editors repeatedly doing what they prefer in opposition to consensus.
