Information icon Hello, Vevans7. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Bishonen | talk 17:10, 28 April 2018 (UTC).Reply

Hi again Vevans7, this is a more personal note. I have removed the highly promotional "Mission" section you added to Ursuline College. Please note that our articles are supposed to be written from a neutral point of view, see our Neutral point of view policy. Also, I noticed that the text was lifted verbatim from Ursuline College's website, thus violating their copyright. Do you work for the college? If you are editing Wikipedia as part of your job, you're obliged to disclose that fact, see my more general post above, and compare the policy WP:PAID (please click on the link). To disclose a connection, you can simply reply to me below. Finally, are you the same as the account User:UrsulineCMarketing, which had previously added the same article section? That account name was "softblocked" as intrinsically promotional, and the person behind it was invited to create a new account, so that would be OK. Note, however, that regardless of username, promotional editing is not permitted. Bishonen | talk 17:27, 28 April 2018 (UTC).Reply
