Book of Mormon
editI was the editor who introduced citations to your Visions in a Seer Stone on the Book of Mormon page, and I wanted to extend my apologies for how my manner of writing read so unfairly. In my zeal to incorporate all I had read about the subject, I failed to be more selective about what sources were truly fair and reliable and more careful about how I was presenting scholars' research. And when editing the Book of Mormon page, I am sometimes excessively anxious about the potential of overzealous Latter-day Saint readers knee-jerk deleting content and end up adding caveats in the hopes of warding off such behavior. But my mix of eagerness and anxiety is no excuse, and I am sorry. Both the essay and Visions in a Seer Stone are insightful works, and Book of Mormon Studies is better for having them. Thank you
editI appreciate your response very much. Religious topics are always sensitive, so I'm grateful for your efforts to be fair and impartial. WmLDavis (talk) 01:55, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
