I am new as a Wiki contributor, so I figured I would start a talk page. I would like to contribute photos and content.
Places and subjects I have photos of include:
- Seattle and surrounding areas
- Antarctica and the Drake Passage (lots of penguins!)
- Bolivia (native people, food, and animals)
- Peru (Machu Picchu, native people, food, and animals)
- Argentina (Buenos Aires, Patagonia, native people, food, and animals)
- Ecuador (the Galapagos,the equator, native people, food, and animals)
- Photos and photograms in every step of the hand development process
- Various fashion model and editorial type shoots
- Countless cat pictures
I was an English major and I have a lot of experience with various visual art forms, so I would also like to start contributing content as it is needed. Here are some subjects where I have personal knowledge, as well as references to back it up, and in some cases, auxiliary pictures and written passages.
- Elizabethan plays
- Elizabethan theater culture
- Elizabethan gender roles and sexuality
- The tradition of cross dressing in theater throughout his
- Various specific texts, plays, and poems
- Chronic pain from nerve damage and vulvodynia (from personal experience and extensive research and work with doctors)
- Queer theory
- Gender roles and sexuality
- Post colonial studies (especially in literature)
- Photograms (the many different ways to make them and how to create specific visual effects)
- Developing film and photos by hand, especially using new and unusual developing techniques
- Conceptual art
