Sarah Jackson
editI noticed you tried to put a move request in for Sarah Jeanette Jackson, but you did not format the tag properly so it never showed up on the move request page at WP:RM. I've taken the liberty of reformatting for you. You can follow or add to the discussion at Talk:Sarah Jeanette Jackson, which should take at least 7 days. Station1 (talk) 17:31, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

What license do I need to upload photos of my late wife's artwork of which I and my children own the copyright and which I or a friend took? Thank you for your help above. Zelechin (talk) 15:58, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
- You need to decide which license terms you're willing to let other people use the licenses under; if you're the copyright owner, then follow the instructions as the copyright owner even though you didn't create the image in the first place (you can leave a note to explain where the images came from). (You'd need your friend's permission, for photos they took.) One common license you can use is CC-BY-SA 3.0, the same as Wikipedia itself; it was commonly used for images even before Wikipedia changed to that license. Still, you should make sure you're willing to relicense the work (allowing other people to do various things with the images) before you upload it; that sort of license grant can't be revoked once you make it. --ais523 16:13, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
