Zoe, Hi.

Re: connection to Unification Church. To the best of my knowledge, there is no connection of Aum Shinrikyo to the UC, apart from the fact that some of Aum followers may have had some previous experience with it (UC is quite active in Japan).

So my conclusion is that such a connection is pure fantasy (meaning there is nothing to confirm). Japanese (always anonimous) authorities release such ideas quite frequently, Japanese press usually reprints.

Aum had (and probably still has) connection with buddhist groups mostly (especially Kargudpa, the Tibetan Kagyu school), and some yogic teachers (such as Pilot Baba).

I remember reading about UC being in opposition to Aum as a group, but can't provide a source (don't remember).

Basically that's all I can say, hope it helps.

Welcome back -- even though I haven't gotten to work with you, I appreciate that you were willing to respond to my email last December, and you've got such a positive reputation that I'm looking forward to working with you. BCorr|Брайен 22:02, 1 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Same here...welcome back. I also don't know you, but I have heard many people say that you were a fine editor. Dori | Talk 22:12, Jul 1, 2004 (UTC)
Welcome back. You left just as I arrived, but your reputation precedes you, and I am very excited to see your contributions and your perspective here. Jwrosenzweig 22:18, 1 Jul 2004 (UTC)

welcome back!

You were sorely missed. I hope your past year has been rewarding and full. Kingturtle 22:44, 1 Jul 2004 (UTC)

You're back?!?!?! I can't tell you how happy I am! I also missed working with you. Great to have you back with us. Danny 03:22, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Welcome Back Zoe! :O) Comrade Nick @)---^--

Hi Zoe. :-) Thank you for coming back. I'm sure Wikipedia will be a far better place with you back. - Mark 03:28, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Yes, welcome back from me, too! Arno 03:58, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

May I join the chorus of people who don't know you, but nevertheless want to welcome you back? You seem to have a generally good reputation, so I look forward to seeing you around, and in any case it will be nice to not have people fighting on your talk page about who else you might be (although there was some entertainment value to it). --Michael Snow 05:18, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Great to see you back. Deb 07:27, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Hello, Zoe. Welcome back to the project. Your editing and thoughtfulness was missed. I hope your time away provided insight. May your time spent here be blissful and may your edits not be reverted. Kindest regards, UninvitedCompany 14:54, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Welcome back. I never got to meet you, but I've run into your edits many a time. They've always been insightful. Stargoat 16:48, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Hi Zoe! Good to have you back! Lots of new material that's been missing your touch! Stan 21:02, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Welcome back Zoe! Wow, it was hard, especially for the first 6 months, but somehow we kept the project running without you :) Now take it easy and avoid the trolls. Read m:Wikistress, which was written since you left. Drop in on the IRC channel some time and have a chat, it's a lot more active now than it used to be. -- Tim Starling 13:01, Jul 3, 2004 (UTC)

Shalom Aleichem and welcome back, (even) from me! IZAK 07:47, 10 Aug 2004 (UTC)

Sorry to bother you. I noticed that the article 1 lists an author name. It has been copied from the website of that author (the URL is on the end of the article). I cannot find information on how to report a copyright violation -- and I am not sure that the author did not mean to contribute the article. Could you please forward this inquiry to wherever it belongs? Thank you. 金 (Kim) 18:50, 10 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Your were back, and now you seem not. Hmm. -SV

Maybe we're intimidating her. Quick, everyone pretend you don't care whether she's here or not ;) -- Tim Starling 07:16, Jul 28, 2004 (UTC)

If you ever return...

edit

I don't know if you will ever return, but if you do maybe you'll have time to read this... I've "started" the Free the Rambot Articles Project which aims to get users to release all of their contributions to the U.S. state, county, and city articles under the CC-by-sa 1.0 and 2.0 license (at minimum) or into the public domain if they prefer. A secondary goal is to get those users to release ALL of their edits for ALL articles. I've personally chosen to multi-license all of the rambot and Ram-Man contributions under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike License so that other projects, such as WikiTravel, can use our articles. I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all your contributions (or at minimum those on the geographic articles) so that we can keep most of the articles available under the multi-license. Many users use the DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual template (or even MultiLicensePD for public domain) on their user page, but there are other templates for other options at Template messages/User namespace. If you only prefer using the GFDL, I understand, but I thought I'd at least ask, just in case, since the number of your edits is in the top 100. If you do want to do it, simply just copy and paste one of the above two templates into your user page and it will allow us to track those users who have done it. For example:

Option 1
I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

OR

Option 2
I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual

Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain (which many people do or don't like to do, see Wikipedia:Multi-licensing), you could replace DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual with MultiLicensePD -- Ram-Man 22:36, Nov 25, 2004 (UTC)
