When you encounter a proposal or action which does not strike you as having any meaningful benefit to Wikipedia, also consider whether it has a meaningful downside. If you judge there to be no detriment, and others seem to think it may be helpful, consider adding your dispassionate consent for another user to improve the project in good faith.
