Collaboration and review
edit- Can someone review the Category of People of Basque descent. Half of the people there (not the ones in the subcategories) are of un sourced Basque descent, furthermore, most of them are Peruvian members of congress, whose article barely has their name, let alone any show of proof there are of near Basque if only a trace of an illusionised idea of European descent by some Basque-loving Wikipedia user. If the WikiProject Basque wishes to keep their categories clean and trustworthy they need to clean that up. PS: Had no idea where to bring this to your attention so yeah.
- The page was a conciliatory measure to enable us to clean up the list of Basques, which was more important. AFAIK there are only people on the list currently where their own Wiki Bio mentions Basque ancestry. Or has someone sneaked some of the old ones back? Akerbeltz (talk) 19:27, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Resources
edit- Album Siglo XIX. Mendeko Albuma. Pictures of Basque themes from the 19th century in quite high resolutions. The licence is stated as Creative Commons-BY-NC-SA-ES 2.5, but, since the pictures are old, it probably could cover only the texts unless law takes scanning as a creative process.
- 19th Century´s military history in the Basque Country, from the Zumalakarregi Museum.
- Auñamendi Encyclopedia, encyclopedia of Basque subjects in Spanish, original editions by Bernardo Estornés Lasa. Many entries updated.
- Biblioteca Sancho el Sabio. Old books on Basque subjects scanned as heavy JPEG images.
- Morris Student Plus. Basque <-> English dictionary for students.
- eusref.net. Basque Bibliography in English and German.
