Wikipedia:Concordia/Elections/Statements/Computerjoe
I founded this organisation and have chaired it since the beginning. I'm hoping to be elected chairman, as I believe I did a reasonable job; and as the organisation has grown, I believe we can do much more than we could in the first few months.
Personally, I find the civility warnings a good idea (I and Ian13 did make them; so I would be biased!), however, I do see how some people find them a little agressive. This is just one thing many members want changing, and I believe I'd be the best person to instigate the changes.
On a wider scope, I think WP:CIVIL requires rewriting. Currently, I think action, such as a block, should be able to happen because of incivility; much like WP:NPA. Incivility disrupts the Wikipedia like vandalism, and it could be argued that it is more serious.
Also, I think I did a reasonable job setting up Wikipedia:Community Justice/Meeting. People forget the time it takes to do simple things like contact all members to notify them of something, even with the help of WP:AWB. I take the time to do little things like this, which often go without thanks.
If I still haven't convinced you - just look how pretty this statement is! :P
