- Weak oppose I don't know much about the subject, but it seems that it's a bit blurry. crassic![talk] 23:51, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
- Support The subject at least seems in perfect clarity to me. And it does seem to add to the article.--St.daniel Talk 01:23, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

- Suppoer Fantastic picture. The freddinator (talk) 02:51, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose Very poor sharpness. Also lighting could be improved as overall it looks too dark/flat. --Fir0002 06:08, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Support. Illustrates the subject very well. Spinach Dip 08:23, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Weak support Weak, because of the somewhat muddy look - can probably be corrected. DOF is always a problem in macro shots. High enc. --Janke | Talk 14:54, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose The original taxobox picture which you replaced, with your picture in the article seems to be better. Muhammad(talk)
- Support. More detail and less distracting background than the other image, and sufficiently sharp. — BRIAN0918 • 2008-04-18 16:06Z
- Oppose per Fir0002. Good subject, mediocre technical quality. Thegreenj 21:41, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose per Fir0002. Not really an outstanding picture. WN1971... A Symbol of Freedom 22:37, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose per above. And I agree that the original image looks better. 8thstar 01:40, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. Although it is a good illustration of the insect(s) here, but brightness and sharpening is needed for the spider to stand out from the background. Jingshen 16:15, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ermm... Isn't the whole point that it doesn't stand out from the background? Thegreenj 22:19, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- I get the point that it's camouflaged, that's why it's debatable weak oppose. But I'd rather see the insect and the flower clearly standing out, than having them flattened and only the black insect sticking out to my eye. Jingshen 02:47, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- Ermm... Isn't the whole point that it doesn't stand out from the background? Thegreenj 22:19, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
- Support. I see every pollen grain, and this is a 3000px+ image. Papa Lima Whiskey (talk) 10:29, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- I withdraw my nomination - A better and more exciting version is beig nominated above -- Alvesgaspar (talk) 15:01, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
