Original – My Wife's Lovers is a 1891 painting by Austrian artist Carl Kahler depicting 42 out of 350 cats owned by American millionairess Kate Birdsall Johnson. Johnson lent the painting for the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. In 2015, the painting was sold at Sotheby's to a private Californian buyer for $826,000.

Reason: The title was conceived by the husband of the millionairess who owned all those cats. The painting survived the 1906 San Francisco earthquake, while the salon where it was kept was destroyed.

Support. Awful, awful, awful. It's perhaps a little small given the size of the painting, but I don't think we can expect better.
