Original - The Tartini Square is the largest and main square in the coastal town of Piran, Slovenia. It was named after the famous violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini (born in the town), whose statue was placed here in 1896.
Reason
Exciting aerial view of the central part of this picturesque Adriatic town. The image gives the entire idea of shape and proportions of the square as well as the connection with the bay.
