Second Fitna
editAn early inter-Muslim civil war that ensued after the death of the first Umayyad caliph Mu'awiya I in 680 CE. It was a highly complicated and multidimensional affair, that left a lasting impact on later Muslim governments and deepened sectarian divide. The core issue of the dispute was "who should rule the caliphate".

- That's a very impressive set of work. What is the rationale for excluding the Tawwabin uprising? Gog the Mild (talk) 20:57, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Hello @Gog the Mild: We want to focus only on the battles. Mukhtar's and Ibn Zubayr's revolts have also been excluded. AhmadLX-(Wikiposta) 21:08, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support. That is the full set of battles, and those are some good quality articles. I hope that at least some will be going further than GA. Gog the Mild (talk) 21:11, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for the support Gog the Mild. Yes, I think Khazir is already beyond GA, although don't know if its main contributor (Al Ameer) has time to take it to FAC. AhmadLX-(Wikiposta) 21:17, 17 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support: All the major battles at GA quality, with a category and template. Looks like some very good work! -Bryan Rutherford (talk) 00:35, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
