Tau (Artist) (born 1979) is a British artist based in Los Angeles.

Early life and education

Tau is a self-taught artist who started painting in his early life.

After being divorced in 2006, he tried a few startup ventures; at the same time, he engaged in online marketing.

In 2019 he decided the fulfill his dreams and be a full-time painting^[1] artist.

He specializes in oil painting, and his style combines cubism, abstract, and impression.

His main inspiration comes from Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Marc Chagall, Vincent Van Gogh, and Paul Klee.^[2]

Career

As of 2023, Tau does not put his works up for sale or exhibition. Instead, his artworks are displayed on his official website.^[3]

Comment: Perhaps I should have stated at User_talk:122.53.34.146 that asking for a fair use upload while the article is still in draftspace is practically pointless and as such should only be done when the draft has been accepted. Since the draft has been rejected in the meantime, fair use is not an option for the time being. I will leave this open fpr the unlikely case the rejection is overturned unti the hold expires or someone comes up with a link that proves the asserted license.
