Antonov An-225 Mriya

In the "Specifications" paragraph of the "Antonov An-225 Mriya" page I wanted to remove the bold from the colon (because it is not correct), but, unfortunately, I am not allowed to do so; I tried both in visual and non-visual mode, but it's not possible to make the change. Corrections

The Nation was fed a bunch of lies regarding COVID, and this website was labeling other information as "Disinformation" based on those lies. Please go back and correct pages that list information as "Disinformation". We have now learn that 98% of what the government told us was ALL LIES!! Further, any pages with government-fed information must be label as Non-evidence information. Lies from Intel agencies are NOT evidence or factual. What are your Reliable sources for "98% of what the [US, I presume] government told us was ALL LIES!!" This is a rhetorical question, because (speaking from another continent) I am completely sure that you are wrong and misled, there are no such Reliable sources, and without Reliable sources no such changes can or will be made (or if made, will be swiftly reverted.)

Improving Wikipedia is based on discussing what specific reliable sources say about a topic, and proposing specific changes in wording. Wikipedia is a worldwide project not an American project and COVID-19 is a worldwide pandemic. We have hundreds of articles about various aspects of the pandemic worldwide. We do not tailor our coverage to what American conspiracy theorists spout, and ranting and raving here accomplishes nothing. Cullen328 (talk) 02:58, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

Starlightsky, your article is not quite ready for mainspace. See WP:YFA for a complicated 'introduction'. I have also moved your artice to Draftspace, where articles in the process of creation are preferred. Your sources are all WP:YOUTUBE or WP:IMDB, questionable reliability. WP:NPERSON not met yet. Correction to claim on Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America

Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America claims In 2023 Allison Jaslow became the CEO of IAVA, making her the first woman to lead IAVA, and the first openly gay head of any major veterans service organization. American Veterans for Equal Rights, OutServe-SLDN and American Military Partners Association have been around longer with Openly gay CEO and leaders. The Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America does not claim that; the reference in the article does, saying "Jaslow has a pedigree as a disrupter: ... the first openly gay head of a major veterans service organization."

I guess the poster means the article Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America makes the claim. It does so in Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America#Firsts with the below reference. Maybe it's a question of what is considered a "major" veterans service organization. Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America says "over 425,000 members". American Veterans for Equal Rights doesn't mention members and I didn't find a number in a brief search. OutServe-SLDN says "over 7,000 members". https://sdpride.org/american-military-partners-association/ says "20,000+ members and supporters". PrimeHunter (talk) 19:39, 27 April 2023 (UTC)

@PrimeHunter I also had thought about the word "major", but it and the rest of the claim originate in the reference used in Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America; the article is reporting the statement, not making any judgement itself which, of course, would be against Wikipedia's policies of WP:OR and WP:NPOV. There are three options for the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America article:

1. Leave things as they are, with a fully referenced statement from a reliable source.
2. Remove the reference and statement from the article.
3. Request that military.com change the wording in their article from which the statement comes; when that's confirmed as completed, change the wording in the article to reflect the new wording in the source.

My own preference is the first option: the second would be removing valid and relevant information and so against WP's goals; and I don't see its anything to do with WP what other reliable sources say, as long as they are reliable. I will not pursue this further. The OP is welcome to, though, as are you and any other editors. Bazza (talk) 12:46, 28 April 2023 (UTC)

@Bazza 7: References are often ignored by readers who just view statements as Wikipedia claims. "major" seems subjective and potentially controversial so in this case I suggest to mention the reference directly at the statement in a formulation starting with "major": "Patricia Kime at Military.com called it the first major veterans service with an openly gay head." Patricia Kime is described at Military.com#Newsroom so readers can examine her credentials. PrimeHunter (talk) 13:53, 28 April 2023 (UTC)

All references and pages that reference the wildcat strike in Wallulla, WA have been removed as well as the subsequent lawsuit that set a precedent requiring businesses to pay for the time it takes for employees to don and remove required gear for work. If you tell us a page title we can check why it was deleted. If there was a notable event I might have expected it to have been mentioned at Wallula, Washington, but I can see no sign of the word "strike" ever having been in that article. - David Biddulph (talk) 20:20, 27 April 2023 (UTC)
