Keep, image meets WP:FUC as it contributes significantly to the article (identifies the subject of an article and illustrates relevant points within the text). Please provide a link to the counter example so that I may review it, I am not familiar with that. Yamaguchi先生08:10, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Per WP:Fairuse#Counterexamples point 5. It directly infringes on AP's ability to make money from the photo - which is actually WP:FUC point 2. How would AP make money from this photo ? By selling it to people who want to illustrate articles about this guy... Thus it's not fair use. Megapixie08:24, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Megapixie. I would argue that the photograph is notable enough to be iconic, but I defer to the better judgement of others who frequent this forum for discussion. Yamaguchi先生08:38, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
My pics, uploaded by me using various transition effects for my profile, needless to say that wikipedia was'nt the ideal place to put an experimental work on one's profile, which led to consumption of valuable wikipedia space and a bit of release of some stupid looking pics on the net. Kindly delete. Freedom skies10:24, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
This was uploaded to show what the epic and pvp armor looks like on a WoW character and was placed in the paragraph outlining gear in the game.--Mrthemike20:27, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It is, I dont want to upload someone elses work. No names or server are provided on the image to show who it is, it shows the funky color scheme of an epic warrior and I think it applies to the text. --Mrthemike02:30, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Deathrocker (notify | contribs).CV Was uploaded in good faith, as the image is marked as cc-by in Flickr. But it is cleary a copyright violation from the flickr user's part. The image contains the text "Patrick Cooper/Retna Ltd" (bottom right). Patrick Cooper is a professional photographer, and Retna Ltd is a photo agency- Abu Badali21:16, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Uploaded by Gimmetrow (notify | contribs). OB by Commons image with identical name depicting same thing in higher resolution. I listed it as speedy G7-author and I1-redundant but these tags were deleted and replaced by NCT. Since NCT is not automatic (the images are not identical) I was told to list here instead. I do not want it transwikied. Gimmetrow22:56, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
