- Uploaded by Verycoolwinter (notify). OR, UE. I believe the image was supposed to be GFDL-self (in the history, Verycoolwinter marked it as GFDL), but I don't think there's really any encyclopedic use for this one. —~MDD4696 03:38, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- Uploaded by Bole2 (notify). Unencyclopaedic fanart. I know my edit history isn't very long but I'm listing this anyway because nobody else has. – ∅ (∅), 13:52, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Uploaded by Ilmari Karonen (notify). OB: Replaced by Recycle001.svg. — cBuckley (Talk • Contribs) 17:23, 30 May 2006 (UTC)- I recall seeing something about SVGs replacing PNGs, but I didn't think it was agreed on, and I don't like it. PNG is a free format and SVG, while open in theory, in practice requires proprietary viewers; I don't want to see Adobe holding Wikimedia hostage. Can someone prove to me that PNG-->SVG is an established (as opposed to still-debated) policy? --M@rēino 20:17, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Image use policy#Format. As for free SVG viewers, there are plenty — including the one MediaWiki uses to render them internally. —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 08:22, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Neutral, but note that the PNG version is widely used and also exists on Commons. It may be better to keep it for now but recommend the SVG version on the image description page. —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 08:22, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
ConditionaldeleteThis is not obsolete just yet, it's still used on a couple of dozen userpages, and getting rid of this is not urgent enough to justify leaving redlinks all over the place. Clean it up and replace all current usage with the SVG version first, then delete it once it is no longer used. Should be fairly easy to do with AWB, I may do it myself later if I find the time. --Sherool (talk) 10:36, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
