A typical promotion photo of a politician. What's the problem? Do we need to wait for a papparazi style photo? I know many people are willing to fight to the death in name of the "free" mantra but this is encyclopedia and not place for ideological zealots. Pavel Vozenilek00:49, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I've nominated Image:Barney Oliver.jpg for speedy deletion as I only have the webmasters permission to publish at WP. He was only reluctant to seek the copyright holder's (next of kin's) permission so as to preclude further anguish to the family. As he said that he was representing the family's best interest, I took him at his word. As this seems at this time to be an inadequate reason for publication of this image, I am requesting that it be deleted. --hydnjotalk01:05, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Delete - this is a leftover from the ancient times when Wikipedia could not scale images, so it was uploaded in this small version and a large version (which is what we use now of course). Just put it in the wastebin, thanks for the housekeeping! Nixdorf08:07, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Keep: This notification provides permission for this picture's use with non-profit organizations (such as Wikimedia). Unlike MVC-002S.JPG, Arlingtonhigh.jpg, and MVC-001S.JPG, a GPL alternative cannot be produced. Suggestion: change license to Attribution and don't delete. Deleted. Permission for schools and non-profit organizations isn't good enough. Wikipedia content has to be commercially reusable. —Angr21:44, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It's not uploaded with false tag, that would go under the category, CC Share Alike, its not a Logo nor is it any other selection on the list Mgarnes222:54, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Do you own the copyright to it? No where on the website where you got the image from does it release the copyright, therefore, you can't claim it with that license. Metros23222:58, 16 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
