- This image was used as a flag icon in the infoboxes of several Valve games released via Steam (content delivery). It seems the idea is to match the existing (public domain) flag icons for releases via Steam instead of via retail. This is a purely decorative use that can be easily conveyed with text, and thus fails WP:NFCC#8. It was formerly used in Portal (video game), The Orange Box, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Half-Life: Source, Team Fortress 2, and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast, and I have orphaned the image for the time being. --Phirazo 01:50, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

- Duplicate - Image is a near exact duplicate to the eye of the Commons Image:NotreDameAcademyGreenBayWisconsinSign.jpg. Uploader has been disruptive, edit warring over having his/her image placed on the article Notre Dame Academy (Green Bay, Wisconsin). Reason for uploading is a "recent picture" when it is actually equal to the existing image. Possibly the contributor was to leave a message for Shawn. Royalbroil 18:01, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Also Copyright violation: After further review, I believe that this is a derivative work since everything appears to be in the EXACT same location. The shadows, vehicle, and power lines appear to be exactly the same. It looks like Bobbarker1291 has photoshopped a message to his/her friend Shawn. A deriative work would require the same attribution since I tagged the original image "Attribution ShareAlike", not Public Domain. Royalbroil 18:13, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- The metadata confirms this is a copyright violation. Royalbroil 18:51, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

Delete - No need for the second image, especially as it's 'faked' making it's value in an encyclopedia less than the original. AlexJ 10:16, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

- Orphan, the given source has a copyright statement with no evidence of Creative Commons license. Videmus Omnia Talk 18:21, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Not an orphan, a commons image is based on the image I created. Please don't delete it. It is CC-by-SA, what do you mean by "the given source has a copyright statement with no evidence of Creative Commons license"? Why do you believe otherwise? - Ta bu shi da yu 22:13, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Also see Commons:Deletion requests/Image:MKDE server.svg before closing this, just in case that discussion turns around. —Cryptic 18:47, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- For some reason it's been switched to GFDL on commons. Go figure. - Ta bu shi da yu 22:13, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- this image is being used to illustrate FDR's "ebullient personality". This is a US president--there should be plenty of free images available! no reason to use this nonfree one. Calliopejen1 19:45, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
