Suggestions for editing

edit

The day is themed around enriching and adding articles pertaining to Native American and Chinese art. Below is a list of topics we would like to focus on for this edit-a-thon. Many of these have links to PEM’s collections. Curators will be on hand with material related to these topic areas. These topics are broad- other suggestions are welcome! We will try to be as flexible as possible with requests on the day, but cannot guarantee the provision of materials on other topics.

Contemporary Native American artists

Many of the Wikipedia articles on [contemporary Native American artists] are incomplete, and many significant contemporary Native American artists do not currently have their own Wikipedia articles. We'll be working to update information about these artists and add images of their works from PEM's collection.

We'd like to improve the articles about these contemporary Native American artists:

We'd like to create articles about these significant contemporary Native American artists:

We'll also try to edit and/or add images to these articles about Native American art:

Chinese Photography, Art, and Culture

PEM's collection contains some fantastic vintage photographs of China. We'll be uploading some of these images from our collection to relevant articles on China, Chinese culture, and Chinese art, as well as updating and improving the articles' content.

We'd like to add photographs to (at least) these articles:
