This edit-a-thon will include an introductory training session for new editors, as well as an introduction to Wikimedia Commons and the various Wiki projects that exist. We will be here to edit and create articles on any subject that you wish! Please bring a laptop with you as we will only have a limited number available for use.

No Wikipedia experience necessary; training session at 12:00 p.m. for newcomers on the day of the event. At least one librarian will be on hand to help with research, and there will be volunteers to help with editing and creating articles. We will also be providing light refreshments as well as Wikipedia swag (buttons, stickers, and pencils).

Guest Parking

edit

For non-SCSU affiliated participants, free parking will be available in V-lots (near the Education Building between 4th and 5th Avenues, across the street from Barden Park) and L-Lot (adjacent to Garvey Commons off of 6th St.). For more information, please consult the SCSU campus map.
