Wikipedia:WikiProject Molecular Biology/Computational Biology/RegSys task force

Welcome to the Regulatory and Systems Genomics task force of WikiProject Computational Biology.

Scope

edit

The Regulatory and Systems Genomics task force of WikiProject Computational Biology aims to improve and organise Wikipedia articles within the scope of the ISCB Regulatory and Systems Genomics Community of Special Interest (RegSys COSI).

The RegSys COSI focuses on computational methods that are important in the study of regulation of genes and systems. The RegSys COSI organizes the following activities:

  1. ISMB Regulatory Genomics SIG Meeting
  2. RECOMB/ISCB Conference on Regulatory and Systems Genomics and DREAM Challenges
  3. Top Ten Papers in Regulatory and Systems Genomics.

Participants

edit

The Regulatory and Systems Genomics task force is led by Lonnie Welch, Stuckey Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Ohio University. If you would like to join, please add your signature by adding # ~~~~ to the bottom of this list.

Tagging

edit

Any articles that are within the scope of this task force should be tagged with the WikiProject Computational Biology project banner. To this banner, you should add |regsys=y: this will automatically put the page in the appropriate category.

Assessment

edit

Quality ratings for Regulatory and Systems Genomics articles are taken from the WikiProject Computational Biology rating: that is, Regulatory and Systems Genomics articles are not separately rated for quality by the task force.

It may be possible in the future for articles to be given different importance ratings by different task forces, but this is not implemented currently.

An automatically generated summary table of Regulatory and Systems Genomics article quality is provided on the right. This table may not reflect recent updates.
