Course description

Advanced Media Studies offers intellectual challenges through focused media investigations, presentations using a variety of digital media, and an introduction to video production.

Wikipedia assignment

Students will create an original two-minute informational digital video for Wikipedia. Students will use camera equipment, digital video editing software, web technology, and a production framework to create and share publicly a video about historical works of outdoor sculpture. All videos must reflect a neutral point of voice, comply with guidelines outlined by Lights Camera Wiki, and be suitable for end use in a free encyclopedia.
