Here, we determine which entries will be on the 1.0 release of Wikipedia. These entries will be chosen based on importance, quality and stability.
The threshold for nomination eligibility is expected to gradually widen. For now, nominations are restricted to:
Also see Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Release Version Criteria. Entries that are eligible for nomination must still be found qualified, as outlined below. Nominations that are ineligible should be removed. If you nominate an article, you will be expected to make a moderate effort to address objections that are raised, if they are actionable. If you nominate something you have worked on, note it as a self-nomination. Please do not place more than one nomination at a time — this makes it difficult to do each article and its objections justice. You may wish to receive feedback before nominating an article here, by listing it at Wikipedia:Peer review. If the article is of high quality, you may want to nominate it for Featured article status. Consensus must be reached for an article to be included in the static release. "Consensus" for qualifying here is defined as at least a 5:1 ratio of support votes to objection votes. If enough time passes without objections being resolved, nominations will be removed from the candidates list and archived. |
