For creating new articles
edit- Follow all the standard best practices for articles, as outlined at Help:Your first article. See the Help:Introduction tutorials for general editing advice.
- Rigorous sourcing is extremely important for medical articles. Ideal sources include literature reviews or systematic reviews in reliable, third-party, published secondary sources (such as reputable medical journals), recognised standard textbooks by medical experts, or medical guidelines and position statements from national or international expert bodies.
- When drafting, follow the Manual of Style for medicine-related articles.
- Optionally, add the vaccine safety navbox {{Vaccine safety}}, to the page. If the topic is significant in the scope of the pandemic as a whole, edit the sidebar and navbox to add it to them.
- Don't forget the normal finishing touches, such as categories, a short description, and the
{{stub}}
stub tag if needed. - Ensure that the article is not an orphan by linking to it from other vaccine-related pages where it is relevant, Also, add a few relevant redirects.
