Other languages
editPlease register your interest by typing the following text while logged in as a registered Wikipedia user (for LanguageCode, see the "Wiki" column in this list of Wikipedias):
* :LanguageCode:Article name --~~~~
This will display your claim on an article in interwiki syntax in the following way, using the Japanese (ja) article on metagenomics (メタジェノミクス) as an example:
For an article to be accepted into the contest, it has to be approved by a user who actually understands that language, and by a member of the jury (the two can be identical). Translations from other Wikipedia languages are welcome but have to be indicated as such. Please add your claims (no more than two in total across the Wikipedia and Wikidata competitions) below (order them alphabetically, so that duplicates are easily detectable):

Wikidata
editPlease add your claim below using wikilinks or interwiki syntax. Please briefly describe what you want to do, and do not forget to sign your claim by adding --~~~~ at the end of it.
For example, the text
*DNA barcoding (Q1154642) — I want to develop this into a showcase item. --~~~~
would display as
- DNA barcoding (Q1154642) — I want to develop this into a showcase item. -- Daniel Mietchen (talk) 22:16, 9 September 2015 (UTC)
Apart from developing showcase items, you could focus on mapping Wikidata properties to external onthologies, on applying Wikidata properties (e.g. medical, taxonomic or chemical ones) to a range of Wikidata items (e.g. genes, diseases, drugs), on adding references to statements in Wikidata, or on a number of other things.
Please add your contest claims (no more than two in total across the Wikipedia and Wikidata competitions) below (order items by Q number and properties by P number, so that duplicates are easily detectable):
