Welcome to the Looney Tunes work group of WikiProject Animation! This group was formed to better organize articles on Looney Tunes in a spirit of cooperation. If you would like to help, please add your name to the participants' list.

Scope

Looney Tunes work group covers all articles related to Looney Tunes animated shorts, including Merrie Melodies that were originally produced by Harman-Ising Pictures, and were produced by Leon Schlesinger Productions from 1933 to 1944, including Schlesinger sold the studio to Warner Bros. in 1944, and the newly renamed Warner Bros. Cartoons and continued production until 1963.
It covers many popular characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, Sylvester, Speedy Gonzales, Tweety, Marvin the Martian, Taz, Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, Foghorn Leghorn, Pepé Le Pew and many others.
