Aryanization compared to Affirmative action

edit

Zezen[1] and GizzyCatBella[2] are comparing the anti-racist Affirmative action policy to the Nazi policy of Aryanization. This is deplorable, and Wikipedia should stop this!

Asking for outside opinions on the Blacklist (computing)

edit

I need outside view in the topic: Blacklist (computing), especially from those who have experience dealing with racial words and terms in Wikipedia articles. — Arthurfragoso (talk) 16:18, 11 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

article Human nature needs improvement per MOS:GNL and WP:GENDER

edit

I was surprised to see that the article Human nature needs improvement per MOS:GNL and WP:GENDER -

article has many instances of "man" being used to mean "human being", "mankind" being used to mean "humanity", etc.

Please help improve this article per MOS:GNL and WP:GENDER. Thanks.

Nakba denial

edit

I have created a page on the subject of Nakba denial - a topic of some weight in literature on the historiography of the Arab-Israeli conflict. I have barely scratched the surface of the available source, having prioritized the most readily accessible ones. There may very well be some gaping gaps, not least in that I don't have access to any of the best Ilan Pappé material, so haven't been able to directly quote him. More eyes welcome. Internment of Japanese Americans - Article name and terminology used in article text

edit

Despite the consensus seeming to be in favour of keeping "internment" as the title of Internment of Japanese Americans, the article's text now solely uses the term "incarceration". Consistency between the two would be preferred, especially since the change to the article's text seems to have been made recently without discussion. Eldomtom2 (talk) 13:21, 2 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Requested move: Genital mutilation and modification → Genital modification

edit

Article surrounds topics such as gender-affirming care, circumcision, labiaplasty, and other matters.

Current debate here. Move discussion has been extended. KlayCax (talk) 02:15, 30 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

edit

I stumbled upon this article and it may be one of the worst articles I've seen on this site. It seems biased towards old people and lacks references for lots of words, and used an advice animal to demonstrate ageism. More experienced editors working on the article for cleanup would be appreciated. -1ctinus📝🗨 12:16, 4 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Misandry and Sexism

edit

Project goal: -Improve articles in scope with quality references and viewpoints

How does this project goal reconcile with WP:DUE/UNDUE stated guideline to avoid giving inclusion to tiny minorities? I don't understand how the view that misandry is a form of sexism worth a short section in Sexism needs to prove it is sufficiently represented with reliable sources for inclusion. Seems like the quoted project goal should make it relatively easier for minority viewpoint inclusion, perhaps lowering the bar as compared to articles outside Project Discrimination. Is there a lower bar for viewpoint inclusion within this Project and what is the height of that bar? 75.174.11.193 (talk) 01:32, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Requesting assessment

edit

I have created the article Big Excursion which seemed to be in the scope of this project along with the Revival Process which it forms the final ignoble chapter of.

Will someone please provide an assessment of those two articles as it relates to this project? I have temporarily marked them both as low importance. Pietrus1 (talk) 02:09, 25 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
