Official announcement?

Is there a page with an official announcement? I'd love to send this around to the various genealogy groups to which I belong (of which many members use CJH). -- 17:24, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Intro to Wikipedia editing included?

Yes, there will be a general demonstration of basic editing for everyone about an hour into the event, and there will be experienced editors on hand throughout the edit-a-thon to answer specific questions. Thanks for your interest!--Lange.lea (talk) 18:28, 30 April 2014 (UTC)

Organizations?
