Request for input in discussion forum
Given the closely linked subjects of the various religion, mythology, and philosophy groups, it seems to me that we might benefit from having some sort of regular topical discussion forum to discuss the relevant content. I have put together the beginnings of an outline for such discussion at Wikipedia:WikiProject Religion/2011 meeting, and would very much appreciate the input of any interested editors. I am thinking that it might run over two months, the first of which would be to bring forward and discuss the current state of the content, and the second for perhaps some more focused discussion on what, if any, specific efforts might be taken in the near future. Any and all input is more than welcome. John Carter (talk)

Requested move

The result of the move request was: page moved per request. There are now a number of categories that probably want renaming, too; they should be speedy-able. I've updated a few templates. Most pages needing attention can be found by check the "what links here" page for the project. ([1]) - GTBacchus(talk) 01:15, 9 September 2011 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject Canon Law → Wikipedia:WikiProject Catholic canon law — Relisted Alpha Quadrant talk 16:20, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Wikipedia policy on capitalization is to "avoid unnecessary capitalization." It specifically addresses religious canonical topics: "Doctrinal topics or canonical religious ideas that may be traditionally capitalized within a faith are given in lower case in Wikipedia". Since "canon law" covers canon law in general, I propose adding Catholic to the name of this project since Catholic canon law appears to be the project's topic. Jojalozzo 15:05, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Discussion
- Any additional comments:
- Your nomination has confused me. What you have written concerns simply the capitalisation, yet the actual proposal is to ad "Catholic" to the WikiProject's title – something you have not addressed in your nomination. Jenks24 (talk) 19:46, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
- I modified my proposal to clarify this point. Jojalozzo 02:34, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- If this proposal is generally acceptable, then my recommendation would be to change the titles of other project pages that capitalize canon law. How to change them (e.g. lower casing "canon law" and adding "Catholic") would depend on the topic. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Jojalozzo 02:43, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
- I'll assume there's no objection to this change if no one speaks up soon. Jojalozzo 03:21, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

The article needs alot of help. I've been working on it, but more sources would be good. Canon Law Junkie §§§ Talk 16:15, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
