Need?

Do we really need this project? It seems a bit much, as isn't Torchwood already covered by WikiProjectDoctorWho? Maybe we should rename the original Wikiproject "WikiProjectDoctorWhoUniverse" instead? --GracieLizzie 17:08, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

• • I don't think it's needed at all. WP:BUFFYverse covers Buffy AND Angel AND Fray AND anything else. The Who fans are the experts, and it's all so intertextual that all the policies need to be exactly the same and cooperate. I have to agree with Zythe - I don't really see the point, the project is likely to be made up of the same people from the Doctor Who project anyway, and I would think we'd want just one style guide for all the Who-related shows. --Brian Olsen 23:58, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

One more agreement here - the content is well-covered by the Who project. If you only want to work on Torchwood content, just join the Who project and keep your contributions in TW's direction - no harm done. Radagast 00:32, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

Style guide

I've trimmed the style guide to remove some items with no relevence to Torchwood. I need someone to check what is down on Story titles at the beginning of story articles- are they bolded, bolded and italisied, or bolded and in quotes? --OZOO (What?) 15:10, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Torchwood templates

It turns out that the image being used in some templates (namely {{WikiProject Torchwood}}, {{ProjectTorchwood}} and {{User TorchwoodWP}}) was non-free, contra current policy (cf. here and here), which meant, among other things, that we had a bunch of people unknowingly harbouring the content on their user pages. I've therefore removed it from said templates. If anyone can think of a possible free replacement, or is willing to make one, that would be useful. Torchwood story chronology

I propose that we make a page on all the Torchwood stories including the novels. I've already created a Doctor Who one called Doctor Who story chronology though it's already a mess as I'm the only one keeping it up with other people messing it up. So what do you say. To the members of the project please be aware that User:Nuttah is proposing to put this one episode up for WP:AFD. As I am not quite sure what third party sources can be used when recapping an episode of a TV series I thought that maybe some of you can give suggestions and/or be prepared to comment if/when it goes to AFD. As a note I did not propose to delete the article. I tagged it for improvement to meet the notability requiremets at Wikipedia:Television Episodes. User:MarnetteD repeatedly removed these and said that I should take it to AfD. As I have already stated at the user page, I am happy to leave the article tagged for improvement, but MarnetteD has made it clear they will disagree and remove any tags. Old Torchwood site

The old Torchwood site (2006/2007) links are no longer available and a lot of the information they provide is of little worth or relevance. I am hereby removing references that link to the old Torchwood site as they can no longer be proved or disproved in their accuracy. Any objections?
