Wood Science and Technology is a bimonthly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering all aspects of wood science and technology.[1] It is published by Springer Nature and the editors are Klaus Richter and Jan-Willem van de Kuilen, both of the Technical University of Munich.[2]

editWood Science and Technology publishes research and review articles covering the comprehensive field of wood material science and its associated products. The scope includes, but is not limited to: (a) Core areas such as wood biology and quality, wood physics and related physical technologies, as well as wood chemistry and chemical technologies, (b) Discussions on the latest advancements in fields like wood formation, chemical composition, property interrelations, and the processes involved in microbiological degradation, and (c) Technological topics related to wood, including machining, adhesion and gluing, surface finishing, composite manufacturing, wood modification techniques, and the conversion of pulp and biorefinery products.
