Fire Ox (Chinese: 丁丑; pinyin: dīngchǒu) is the fourteenth combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Fire Rat and followed by Earth Tiger. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, dīng (丁) represents yin and Fire, while the Earthly Branch chǒu (丑) corresponds to the Ox zodiac.[1][2]
