Fire Snake (Chinese: 丁巳; pinyin: dīngsì) is the 54th combination of the sexagenary cycle of the Chinese zodiac. It is preceded by Fire Dragon and followed by Earth Horse. In the traditional correspondence of the Heavenly Stems with the Five Phases, dīng (丁) represents yin and Fire, while the Earthly Branch sì (巳) corresponds to the Snake zodiac.[1][2]
