Zawita (Arabic: زاويتة,[1] Kurdish: زاویته, romanized: Zawîte[2][3]) is a town in the Dohuk Governorate, Kurdistan Region in Iraq. The name of the town is thought to come from the Syriac word for "corner."[4]
