International career
editBorn in Austria, Barisic is of Croatian descent.[1] He made one appearance for the Austria national team on 6 June 1999, a 5–0 loss to Israel. Barisic was disappointed with the professionalism of his manager Otto Barić, and decided not to be called up again.[2]
