Ömer Barutçu (1942 – 2 December 2024) was a Turkish economist and politician. A member of the Justice Party and later the True Path Party, he served in the Grand National Assembly from 1977 to 1980 and again from 1987 to 2002, was Minister responsible for Youth and Sport from 1995 to 1996, and was minister of transport from 1996 to 1997.[1]
