1782 North Carolina gubernatorial election

The 1782 North Carolina gubernatorial election was held in April 1782 in order to elect the Governor of North Carolina. Former Acting Governor Alexander Martin was elected by the North Carolina General Assembly as he ran unopposed. The exact number of votes cast in this election is unknown.[1]

On election day in April 1782, Former Acting Governor Alexander Martin was elected by the North Carolina General Assembly. Martin was sworn in as the 4th Governor of North Carolina on 22 April 1782.[2]
