1789 Capital is an American venture capital firm based in Palm Beach, Florida. Founded in 2022 by investment banker Omeed Malik, heiress Rebekah Mercer, and entrepreneur Chris Buskirk, the company focuses on products and companies associated with conservative values, and positions itself as an anti-ESG investment firm.[1][2] The number 1789 was chosen to reflect the same year the Bill of Rights was adopted.[3][4]

Venture capitalist and Republican House of Representatives political candidate Blake Masters is part of the Board of Advisors.[5]

In 2023, it made its first investment into the new media company lead by Tucker Carlson and Neil Patel.[6]

In November 2024, Donald Trump Jr. announced that he would be joining as a partner.[7]
