1806 New Jersey gubernatorial election

The 1806 New Jersey gubernatorial election was held on 31 October 1806 in order to elect the governor of New Jersey. Incumbent Democratic-Republican governor Joseph Bloomfield was unanimously re-elected by the New Jersey General Assembly as he ran unopposed.[1]

On election day, 31 October 1806, incumbent Democratic-Republican governor Joseph Bloomfield was unanimously re-elected by the New Jersey General Assembly as he ran unopposed, thereby retaining Democratic-Republican control over the office of governor. Bloomfield was sworn in for his fifth term that same day.[2]
