The 1897 Tuskegee Golden Tigers football team represented Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute—now known as Tuskegee University—as an independent during the 1897 college football season. Led by first-year head coach Charles Winter Wood, the Golden Tigers compiled a record of 0–1.[1][2]
