The 1955 Texas Southern Tigers football team represented Texas Southern University as a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) during the 1955 college football season. In their seventh season under head coach Alexander Durley, the Tigers compiled an overall record of 7–2–1 with a mark of 5–1–1 in conference play, tying for second place in the SWAC.[2]
