The 1968 Missouri State Treasurer election was held on 5 November 1968 in order to elect the state treasurer of Missouri. Democratic nominee William Edmond Robinson defeated Republican nominee William T. Zimmerman.[1]

editOn election day, 5 November 1968, Democratic nominee William Edmond Robinson won the election by a margin of 175,468 votes against his opponent Republican nominee William T. Zimmerman, thereby retaining Democratic control over the office of state treasurer. Robinson was sworn in as the 38th state treasurer of Missouri on 13 January 1969.[2]
