The 1970 Missouri State Auditor election was held on 3 November 1970 in order to elect the state auditor of Missouri. Republican nominee Kit Bond defeated Democratic nominee and incumbent state auditor Haskell Holman.[1]

General election
editOn election day, 3 November 1970, Republican nominee Kit Bond won the election by a margin of 202,862 votes against his opponent Democratic nominee Haskell Holman, thereby gaining Republican control over the office of state auditor. Bond was sworn in as the 28th state auditor of Missouri on 12 January 1971.[2]
